Lake Victoria Gold is a rapidly growing gold exploration and development company. Leveraging unique positioning and experience, the company is principally focused on growth and consolidation in the highly prolific and prospective Lake Victoria Goldfield in Tanzania.
The Company has a 100% interest in the Tembo Gold project which has over 50 thousand meters of drilling and is adjacent to one of the giant gold deposits in the Sukumaland Greenstone Belt, Bulyanhulu Mine (operated by Barrick), that has a total resource of > 20 million ounces of gold (including historical mined, current reserve and resource).
The Company also acquired the Imwelo Gold Project, a gold deposit that fast tracks our objective of accretive growth and consolidation. The Imwelo Gold Project is fully permitted for production, and is located approximately 12 km from AngloGold Ashanti's flagship Geita Gold Mine.
